Yeah, I'm not sure - but somebody who used to post here did know who he'd received his from. It was a big deal to him.

Right, so for HIPPA reasons the hospitals don’t share info.
However, the recipient can send a letter to the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) who will pass it along to the donor family, which may or may not respond.
That’s what happened with KB
I can’t see these parents doing that.

I can’t see these parents doing that.
Yeah, I can't either. At this point I'd first question their literacy, the ability to actually do that. If they passed that I can think of a whole lot of other reasons why they wouldn't.
