As for Peter Pan, just look at his last name, clearly the guy is Chinese.
Heck, it looks like he’s doing quite well in Taiwan too, not that Taiwan is Neverland.

Yeah, that's not what his name means.

Fucking hell.
You're right. The idea that you could get anywhere near to hitting a flying child with a cannonball is frankly laughable.
Unless of course their balls were covered in pixie dust.
Ok, Ax.
So, @Doctor-Phibes, how does it feel to be mistaken for Ax?

I've been called much worse, and by better people.

Almost all of the classic fairy tales have a serious and in some cases dark and disturbing side to them.
Walt Disney covered them all in saccharine to make them more "family friendly", and foisted modern American moral and cultural values on us along with them.
The only difference now is that it's going in a direction that some people don't like.
Almost all of the classic fairy tales have a serious and in some cases dark and disturbing side to them.
Dark and disturbing is putting it mildly. Some are plain sinister and morbid. Am sure they kept many a child awake at night with the terrors.
Our son from at least four years old would refuse to watch any of the Disney animated productions. Never said why other than he didn’t like them.

Heck, you really wanna freak 'em out, have 'em watch Return to Oz or The Adventures of Mark Twain. They make Disney cartoons seem like Barney by comparison.

I freaking love Peter Pan, it's a brilliant story. And it can totally work with Pan being Indian, black, whatever. But you don't just slap an ethnic kid in the role and say, "we've improved the story!" That's fucking obscene.
Disney has been "improving" classic children's fiction ever since they started making movies.
And they used to do a great job of it. I'm friends with a guy who drew a lot of the stuff for Aladdin. The Disney of today can't hold a candle to what they had before, and their approach to storytelling has radically changed for the worse since the late 90s.

You know, I will disagree a little with that. Encanto may have been the best Disney movie that I have seen in quite a while. Everything else has been Jack shit.

Wait, which balls? Maybe that’s why all the Lost Boys are Girls? The guys didn’t make it?

Frankly, I don’t mind lost girls, Asian/Indian Peters, or black Tinkerbrlls. The reason for the changes does bother me.
Stop pandering.

He is into classic comedies. Laurel & Hardy, 3 Stooges, Marx Brothers, Abbott and Costello and most recently, Jack Benny. Also really into Monty Python, Fawlty Towers and strangely enough, Keeping Up Appearances and, Time Goes By.
He has just turned 16.

I'm in the middle on it. It had some good elements, but I'm getting a little tired of the Millennial hero story of making their parents apologize for being meanies.

The visuals were great. The story was awful.
Oh but the songs though, Mik, the SONGS!
Lemme tell you something about those fucking songs. Miranda would be unstoppable if he had any discipline. I said what I said.
Hamilton can go fuck itself, too.
