You can disagree all you want, but this is a state matter, not DOJ.

The latest stats I saw said that about 78% of all gun-related deaths (not suicides) were done by someone who didn't legally own the gun. Another source said it was as high as 99% if you are just looking at criminal murder/homicides.
In other words.....forget SCOTUS for a second. The DOJ's position that it "will continue to enforce firearm laws...to tackle the epidemic of gun violence" is great and all, but laws will not stop the "epidemic". Those committing gun-based crimes aren't really concerned with concealed carry permits.

Exactly. Just like locks only keep out honest people.

I'm guessing the rest of the world must have a lot less criminals, based on shooting deaths elsewhere.

In Brazil, all firearms are required to be registered with the minimum age for gun ownership being 25. It is generally illegal to carry a gun outside a residence, and a special permit granting the right to do so is granted to certain groups, such as law enforcement officers.
Gun deaths by country
Brazil — 49,436
United States — 37,038 -

Maybe if you stopped allowing Brazilians into the US, you'd have less gun deaths.

Sorry, but the buck stops at SCOTUS.
This is a glaring example why we need to A) fumigate Justice, and B) get it the hell out of D.C.

I saw that, but I didn't want to rub it in.

Yes, and most if not all of the countries at the top of that list would almost certainly have been referred to by an erudite and sophisticated former POTUS in scatological terms.
Whether you view this as a success or not is of course up to you.

Freedom has a price.
Seriously, take certain neighborhoods out of the stats and things would look much, much different.

Well, yeah, if you only count the areas without gun violence, then there isn't going to be a lot of recorded gun violence.
Based on that logic, we could remove the top 15 nations from the list, and put the US as number 1!

BTW I am not ashamed to admit I googled "where is Eswatini". Figured it sounded like a Star Wars planet.

Yes, but then the violence is not a societal problem, but a very bad problem for slim sections of society.

Did you know that if you take out African American vs African American gang violence, that the UK has a higher murder rate than the US? So what do you the problem is?
