89th, you need to stop trying to blame this on Trump by using the "he should have started earlier" shit. It's a bull shit argument. If you want to make it about when action was taken, then talk about the fact that the democrats were occupied with their impeachment shit instead of helping with this issue. Until you do that, your take on this is just more jaundiced TDS.
As always, you're making this political. I'm not.
I'm saying we have X president (forget the person or party) who even on March 9th was saying we "only have 22 deaths" and comparing it to the seasonal flu. If X president (forget the person or party) had acted earlier (again, we in TNCR saw this weeks before then), it would've had a profound effect given the exponential growth where every day of delay has a magnified fatal result.
But I'll talk facts, you can keep deflecting and talking politics as if that has anything to do with this. Just for a second, imagine X president was Obama...just imagine how you'd be flipping out about his delay right now. You'd be calling for his head under charges of high treason for killing 50,000 americans.
If you think im dumb enough to buy into your explanation, youre wrong.

I’m in Washington state, several companies had already instituted work from home policies in the first week of March (including my own).
Meanwhile Prof. Disinfectant was still in his denialism phase.
Considering the fact that Trump took action to deal with the virus beginning in December, even addressing it in his State of the union address in January, all you've shown us is that you don't know what you're talking about.
-
Well there’s multiple videos of the grade A moron being a grade A moron on the coronavirus.
And he continues to add to the repertoire everyday
Link to video“Testing is overrated” “we wouldn’t have so many cases if we didn’t test”
It’s kinda true I guess.
The reason people gain weight is because they keep weighing themselves.
-
Thank you xenon, for proving that none - absolutely NONE - of the things you say regarding Trump and none of your arguments defending your views about Trump are grounded in facts or reality, but are instead nothing more than the rantings of a TDS patient. Some of us already knew this, but for any who hadn't figured that out yet you've just cleared things up bicely.

sigh.
No kidding
He took that quote completely out of context
Why?
Was he trying to trick us into thinking Mr. Trump thinks tests cause covid? Nobody is that stupid, nobody.
I assume he was just joking.
Haha

No that’s stupid. Tests are not overrated. We’re nowhere near the top of the list on per capita testing. And our cases count is not inflated because of too much testing.
Testing is not the problem - as Trump seems to believe.
The amount of stupid people are letting slide with this guy is astounding.

No, that’s not what he’s saying. He says we have the best tests. But the reason we have so many cases is because we’re testing so much more than anyone else.
Read the last paragraph.
I also have great news on testing. You know, we’ve been doing testing at a level that nobody has ever done it before. We cannot get any, and we cannot get the press to write about it or write fairly about it. And nobody has ever done. We’ve done double what anyone else — if you add up all of the countries in the world, we’ve done more testing than all of the countries in the world added up together. Nobody has ever done anything like that. And we have the best tests.
We have tests that, two months ago, didn’t even exist. Our great companies came up with things — Abbott Laboratories and so many others. They came up with things that — Roche — they came up with things that nobody even believes. So we have the best testing in the world. It could be that testing is, frankly, overrated. Maybe it is overrated. But whatever they start yelling, “We want more. We want more.” You know, they always say, “We want more. We want more” — because they don’t want to give you credit. Then we do more and they say, “We want more.”
But we have the greatest testing in the world. But what we want is we want to get rid of this thing. That’s what we want. We want to get rid of this thing.
This afternoon, I also have great news on that testing. America has now conducted its 10 millionth test. That’s as of yesterday afternoon. Ten million tests we gave. Ten million. And CVS has just committed to establish up to 1,000 new coronavirus testing sites by the end of this month. And the 10 millionth will go up very, very rapidly.
And don’t forget: We have more cases than anybody in the world. But why? Because we do more testing. When you test, you have a case. When you test, you find something is wrong with people. If we didn’t do any testing, we would have very few cases. They don’t want to write that. It’s common sense. So we test much more many, many times..

But nowhere near as astounding as the way you try to twist what he said into something completely unrelated to what he meant.
This problem of misunderstanding what he said is becoming a habit.
And why bother? Are you trying to fool someone?

So he's saying that our numbers are higher because we test more. I don't know if it's true we're testing more, but he's not saying tests make you sick, he's saying tests make the reported numbers of cases go higher. Which is of course true.

If this data is accurate, we’re #39 today on per capita testing.

Based on my observations of your posts over the past few years xenon, I've finally figured out how you end up so wrong much of the time. You do 3 things over and over again, just like clockwork. First, you start from the premise that Trump is a moron, and you have the same goal with every post - make it show Trump as a moron, no matter how far you have to twist things to do it. The second thing you do like clockwork is to argue your case like you have been following the facts intently and have a deep understanding of the issue. The third thing you do, only when your argument has been so totally destroyed that even you can't spin it any further, is to admit that you haven't really been following the details very close, just a little over the last day or so, so that's why you got it wrong.
If you're going to argue a point, know what you're talking about first.
