If blm leadership would only ask can't we all just get along.
That would fix it right up.

One thing I know for sure. When you reward temper tantrums by giving in, you will ultimately get even more of the same.
These riots are specifically about police killing unarmed black men. These deaths are occurring because of massive failures at City Hall.

Obviously there will be less rioting if Biden is elected. At least of this type.
One would imagine we’d see more activity on the right, but that would take time to develop.
After months and months of destruction, killing, assaults and arson, CNN gets the memo: "
ProtestsRiots have to stop because it's showing up in the polling."wrote on 26 Aug 2020, 16:33 last edited by@George-K said in Blake Shooting:

"It is just the continuing efforts of the left to ratchet everything up to 11. Been doing it for four years now."Good summary. Succinct.

Ok so kind of as we expected. He was being arrested for a violation/domestic crime, resisted arrest including a taser, and had a knife or was reaching for one while the cops yelled for him to stop.
It’s mind boggling this is even controversial.

I wonder if this is a version of suicide by cop.
Like, "I'm a loser, I'm high, and I don't care what happens next."You would have to be high on something, maybe + drunk, to walk away from cops with their guns pulled, knowing that if they start shooting, there are kids in the car that could be killed.
No. Even if I were high as a kite, I would never put my kids or anyone's kids in jeopardy. That's like basic instinct or something.

Seriously, How on earth could someone think we’ll get less of this if we re-elect him?
I agree. For better or worse, this chaos will be drastically reduced if Biden wins.

We don't negotiate with terrorists.

Showing us the horrors of Trump’s America is supposed to make people vote for him again?
Oh come on Jon, you know better than that.

There is another version of the cop’s perspective of what he saw and witnessed that the MSM will never ever talk about.
That version could be deeply wrong and murder even but the fact that the MSM deems it wrong to even air it is so worthy of a national conversation.

Have the cops released their side of the story? I’ve not seen it. Not that I’ve looked that hard.

I don't put this in the same category as the 'fiery but otherwise peaceful' protest.
It matters whether he had the knife on him or not when they shot him.

Yes.
The other question was was he reaching for the knife?

The problem here is as illustrated by the video George posted in Playing Cop. Here is a guy who has already struggled, been tazed, still gets up and walks away, ignoring police commands AT GUNPOINT, then tries to get into his car contrary to orders. The officer had no time to wait to see it he came around with a weapon.

So the guy is down. Is able to free himself, has been tased to no effect and ignores police commands and goes to the other side of the car and opens the door and is reaching down. What is the cop supposed to be thinking?
Not sure this is the sequence of events but what if it is?

I haven’t actually seen the video.
I still haven’t seen the Floyd video either.
