Yes I think we should have a good dunk on David Lloyd George, George Clemenceau and above all, Woodrow Wilson. While at it we can also dunk on Joseph P. Kennedy because we can.

My wife is coming back from overseas on Friday, to that very airport. I assume arrivals will be less affected.
It's surprising to me that anybody is not showing up, considering they will get back pay after the shutdown ends. But not anymore. Oh, and now they're presumably fired. I wonder how real this is. Those TSA jobs are choice and competitive.

Schumer just did a thing. On the senate floor he offered a compromise. Reopen the government with a temporary extension of the ACA subsidies (which he describes as extending current law). Then create a bipartisan subgroup to negotiate something long term to address health care costs.
