Is anyone tracking DOGE lies?

@Jolly said in Is anyone tracking DOGE lies?:
You fix the problem. What's your solution?
Stop being dishonest about fraud, and address the actual problem. And speak to the other side, and then maybe even listen to them.
A little bit of honesty about the situation would be great, from both parties.

OK, let's just keep lying about how it's the government employees on the take, and security scroungers and dead Democrats. Find somebody to blame, and move on, in other words.

You could, but all the Dem women want to bring their strap-ons…

Musk literally never said that the National Park Service paid that money. But it's interesting that in order to dunk, this guy felt the need to reframe Musk's words slightly. Later in the interview one of the DOGE guys mentioned that it was connected to the Dept of the Interior, which I'm sure has a larger budget.
-
@89th Musk said "the government" paid it. (Turns out it was an unsigned contract at the Dept of Interior.) The dunker on Twitter claimed that Musk said "The National Park Service" paid it, then gave the park service's annual budget, and declared victory. Musk never said the park service was paying the survey contract. Anyway, the details as they've been uncovered, are above, and the claim that it's a single survey for $830m still doesn't stand up to scrutiny, but there is a lot of money being paid for survey consulting, which DOGE is ending.

How about a pat on the back to DOGE for exposing this hilarious retirement mine fiasco? Nobody wants to high five them for that?

You do realize this mine wasn’t a secret before? Maybe Elon discovered it but it’s not new. Further a former manager of the site said there’s “no elevator that restricts how many files (therefore people) can retire per month. It’s literally on the same level as the entrance.” And there isn’t a cap of 10,000 or 8,000 per month, the mine has nothing to do with the pace of retirements processed each month.”
Sometimes I feel like Lt. Daniel Kaffee.

Holy crap all I did was post the transcript. Was what he said accurate or not? I don’t care about other dunkers or tweets.

Illegal immigration wasn't a secret before Trump, either. Attention has a way of changing priorities.

Ok, you think the government was being charged $1,000,000,000 for a one question survey. Got it.

Mark my words, even if they digitize the entire iron mountain process, it will not change the pace of federal retirements. Btw they said it will only take a couple of months. So let’s check back in the summer to see if it’s done?

If it takes a complex analysis to determine whether or not somebody was being honest, he wasn't being honest.
