This is a fun topic because stealthily it lets you know whether any given Biden supporter or Trump hater is secretly afraid of what Trump would do to Biden in those debates.

He would tell one grandious lie after another forcing his opponent to either ignore the lie or spend the whole debate debunking the lies. That man sucks the oxygen out of room when he opens his mouth.

Thank you for rephrasing that in a way that doesn't indicate that Trump is competent at anything. It's important to make sure we cleanse all conversation of such ideas.

Nothing to worry about in the debates then. It's a zero sum game after all. We're looking for relative suitability, not absolute.
Personally, I suspect Trump would come out better in the debates. And of course, you suspect that as well.
Education is extremely important.

Trump can hold his own with Biden when it comes to producing unintelligible word salad. He’s probably better at it in fact.

Minus the brown outs. Biden’s first blackout is going to be very scary. He’s getting closer to Stockdale by the day.

As I’ve said before, Trump doesn’t get penalized for his word salad like Biden does. He’s graded on a curve. None of his supporters need him to make sense.

Trump is a lot like AOC. They don’t need to make sense, they just need to emote in the resonant frequency of their respective tribes.

But unlike AOC, coronavirus aside, he produced results that defied expectations and actually were amazing. So tough to swallow I admit.

You’re high.
Unemployment hit a local minimum before hitting a 90 year maximum.
Like with virtually every president before him, the stock market hit new highs. But then much of gains were given back.
The world is less stable than how he found it and our position in it less secure.
The internal stability of the nation is at either a 50- or 150- year low (it’s too early to tell which).
He’s not even tried to manage the pandemic, rather he manages news cycles within it. And he only does that when a Fox personality guilts him into it.
The country is in far worse shape than it was 4 years ago.

As of January 2020, per the state of the union address, the USA was in its best shape EVAH. The pandemic is likely a finite issue, and I think people know that. BLM and associated protests are becoming blah, as expected.
Can people blame Trump for his handling of the pandemic? Sure. I blame him, to an extent.
But I think Trump will have enough stats to throw out to generally deflect the predictable jabs Biden will make. He will have more energy and better jabs than Biden will and Biden risks having forgetful or mumbling moments, plus his teeth might even fall out.
These debates are Trump’s to lose.
