Is your phone on vibrate?

The people I am talking to in person always takes priority over any phone call coming through. Period. So I have always only used vibrate.

I was going to agree with Mark, but I echo each reply so far. Most notifications are off, only turn on ringer if I expect an important call, rarely used as a phone, don't mind missed phone calls, don't really like chatting on phone for a while (never have, I think I got this from my grandpa who was awesome at being short and efficient with calls), and @LuFins-Dad ... hell yeah. One of my biggest pet peeves is when I'm in a store and a phone call "cuts in line" if I'm talking with an employee. Good on ya.

Vibrate only always. No notifications.

Nobody calls anymore. Everybody just texts.
Friday mein liebchen, post your number here and I promise I will call and leave sweet nothings on your voicemail, and mayb one or two others will call as well! Perfectly safe, trust me.

I take a lot of calls, because I run my business off my phone...It's always on vibrate. I'd put it totally on silent, but having it on vibrate helps me find it when I need to use my wife's phone to call and find mine.
Even on silent though, my gps watch will buzz, and show me caller id/text info...I previously had no interest in anything close to a smart watch, but that little feature alone gets me thinking.

If you have an iPhone and Apple Watch, you can "ping" the phone from the watch. D4 is constantly misplacing her phone and it's a godsend.
My wife does that too. I’ve told her she has lost her fine motor skill of remembering where she left her phone since she just relies on that feature.
