We use the “sex in a canoe” term for regular Budweiser and popular American beers other than craft beers imported from the US.

Our Bud Lite is like regular US Budweiser.

I think a lot of that is moose dookie… Most popular beers in Canada are Molson, LaBlatt, and Moosehead… All at 5% abv. Budweiser’s at 5% and most other American beers are between 4.7% and 5%. It’s a negligible difference if any.

Now if you’re speaking of flavor, that could be a different story…

Good point. They may count on the fact that very few non-fans recognize who it is. They may also be limiting physical distribution.
