The other one that was absolutely foolproof was when a woman would say "I'm not going to sleep with you tonight", I'd come immediately back with "I haven't ASKED you to sleep with me.", at which point I became the prey rather than the hunter.

So was I… I finally gave up on chasing girls at the bar, but enjoyed the atmosphere while reading. Once I started doing that I would have countless women that wouldn’t give me the time of day the week before start initiating conversations. It was weird.

When I first started traveling and was by myself, I was self -concious about going into a restaurant. But after a while, it did not bother me. Bring in a book, magazine, e-reader, etc. Now, with everybody on their own phone, I do not look out of place. 555
