OK.
Jolly first, then Bach, Mik, then me.
Anyone else posts on this subject, they go before us.Years ago, I took the wife turkey hunting. Turkey season is in the early spring, when all the critters are stirring. We found and tried to work one gobbler, but I couldn't get him in. I'm not great with a turkey call.
Alas, couldn't get another to answer, so we packed it in late morning. On the way out, I shot five or six cottonmouths. The wife was glad that the snakes weren't there when we went in, probably because of the cool morning.
She was shocked when I told her they were there, I just wasn't going to mess up a hunt by popping snakes.
She wouldn't go back turkey hunting...

Just left of that solo center leaf. Ridiculously hard to see.

After guessing wrong I googled and found it. Really impossible to see.

I wonder if they played with the colors in the photo a little.
Has some to do with the lighting, but when they're in brown leaves and pine straw, they're tough to pick out. Look for either the spade head or for the back markings.

Correct.
Well, yes, that’s one...You didn’t find the second one?

Bad back, bum leg.
I could still outrun all of you, even while screaming and hyperventilating.
And. . . I still don't see it. -
