You, and a lot of other people.

That and a lot of car travel. I don't see how people who cover big job territories by car with a lot of windshield time, stay in any kind of shape.

Also, don't click on attachments sent via Facebook with names like "This made me think of you" or "I thought you'd like this"

I know, that's kind of obvious. Until your sister in law sends you one, then it's less obvious.

    Bank run?

Very dumb theory, but when people find out their money is not safe in the bank - no matter what their politics are - I suspect they try to take steps to secure their money.

Bullshit. They didn’t hire her because she was a girl. We all know it. She should sue.

Is there a chance that pant material could interfere with the working of the knee joints? I could see the material getting caught in between while sitting…

Seems like any international sports body becomes as corrupt as the worst parts of the world. Or even a national sports body that wants international coverage (e.g. NBA).

    @Mik said in Wildlife hijinks:

Both cats were unusually interested in what was under the bookcase in the sunroom, so I moved the stuff out of the corner and a chipmunk came running out, chased by both cats!

High hilarity ensued as they chased it from room to room and back again, under guitars, pianos and rugs, and we tried desperately to run it in somewhere we could close up. Eventually we got it to run into the garage. Now we have the door to the back yard open, hoping it will decide under the deck is a better location.

Hopefully he won't invite his friends to the dry warm garage to stay with him. 555

Is there really any question that our last two presidents had reduced cognitive ability?

Mr. Biden is worse, but both are losing it, clearly.

No, they don't have the same level job. But they have good benefits.

@Renauda said in Putin has made America great again:

Link to a presentation with the analyst Dmitri Trenton earlier this am on Putin and Ukraine. Worth the 45 minutes as Trenin highlights a speech Putin gave last night that would indicate that what we are currently witnessing is merely the end of the beginning:

    Link to video

Excellent interview and worth the time. Deeper understanding of not only what Putin wants but the events that have shaped his thinking. I thought from the beginning that we pushed Russia way too hard, essentially continuing the Cold War by choice. We largely created our own monster.

I ain’t responsible for all the peripheral nonsense. I know how long I need to work. If the patient isn’t breathing while I’m closing and I have to sit and wait a half hour for anesthesia to remove the tube, it is not my fault.

    There. I said it.

I think his team knew this would happen but was trying to run out the clock for Jan 2023 when, most likely, the GOP takes the house.
