      Vicious cycle, people aren’t opting for them, and car companies quit spending the $ developing them.

      It’s getting harder to even rent them overseas. I remember when it was hard to rent an automatic in Latin America. Now it’s all they have most of the time.

      I rented a Renault with a stick in Portugal just a couple weeks ago.

      Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV.

        My coworker rented a manual transmission at Heathrow. I fit into the car, barely.

        Education is extremely important.

          In Taiwan, your driver license has a special code if you take your driving test in a manual car. That makes you legal to drive one. If you take your test in an automatic car, you are not legal to drive a manual.

          (I learned on a manual because that is what my parents had. LOL)

          ( I think that is a funny but true statement about manual cars less likely to be stolen. An anti theft device!!!)
