@George-K said in Life on a submaarine: Das Boot is probably the best submarine movie ever made. If you haven't watch it. The TV series is very good as well, but it's not as much focused on submariners' lives as the politics and shore-side events of WWII. Oh, and of course, Red October is a great film, though I wonder (not really) how accurate it was in its depiction of submarine life. @taiwan_girl , I haven't toured the U505 in years and years. I should revisit. If you get the chance, compare the 505 to a U.S. WW2 fleet sub - Gato, Balao or Tench class. I think even the Gato class is a better sub, although it doesn't dive as deep. If you served on an American sub, you got better food, laundry facilities and....wait for it.....Air Conditioning.

Could happen. US states that were once thought to be solid in one side, are now solid in the other side. Not really, part of the discussion, but I thought this quote from the article was funny. "Not generally acknowledged is the fact that more voters in California in 2020 supported Trump—over 6 million—than in any other state. More than Texas. More than Florida." Well, that is because California has a much bigger population than any other state. LOL I could also say that President Biden got more votes in Texas than President Trump got in 47 states.

It is a blatant attempt to confuse Mr. Biden. But we know that is not possible.

Yes State-enforced diversity could never be allowed Well, it could be allowed, even encouraged, for years But eventually it has to be seen for what it is And we will tear down the statues of anyone even remotely related

Definitely if you want the best outcome and smoke profile, but it’s a commitment. You have to add a split every 45 minutes or so.

But worsening shortages in the supply of drugs used to treat cancers are drawing dire warnings from medical professionals and those who rely on such medical interventions to save lives. His moonshot plan?

If I'd realised I'd have posted 'lol'.

Speaking of the destruction of institutions, as part and parcel of TDS. Or more generally, the leftist moral panics that weave their tendrils throughout the culture.

@Doctor-Phibes said in Fauci and. Bowser go door to door: @Copper said in Fauci and. Bowser go door to door: @Doctor-Phibes said in Fauci and. Bowser go door to door: more egregious and despicable than anything Fauci did. Back then, the government wasn't expected to protect you from everything. It was OK for a company to make profit a priority. It's hard to believe, but there were some companies who didn't have social justice and the environment as their top priorities. Have you been sniffing the lead paint again? It's hard to believe, but there was a time when hard-working and industrious companies were able to sell paint chips as crackers.
