@Copper said in Jon wants to have a pet named Luna, too: @Jolly said in Jon wants to have a pet named Luna, too: Why are Republican women generally better looking than their Dem counterparts? I figured the democrat women look good to democrats. Is that not right? Well they look better after surgery... [image: R.6318bad452a90084dce02e50329038cc?rik=BlviZFW7p0%2b7Pw&pid=ImgRaw&r=0]

Lauren Southern's video of her 'traditional wife' lifestyle and its crash against the rocks of reality. It sounds like she married someone who wasn't ok with being attached to an "alt right" personality. He left her and now she's a broke single mom, but spiritually fulfilled. Link to video

Well, you've already got a senior wife. I'm sure things will go well, when you bring that nubile 20 year-old into the Phibes' household...

Ugh, a clickbait title. At no point do the researches say they are "horrified". Although, one geologist from Brazil did say it was both new and terrifying... what do you expect when you're asking someone who studies rocks all day what they think about plastic.

If I read this right, they're extending the route of the Crescent, which originates in New York and heads to NOLA via Atlanta and Birmingham. I would guess the plan is to make it a "split" train, much like the Empire Builder is - it leaves Chicago and in Spokane, it splits into Portland and Seattle sections. Here the Crescent would split into Dallas and NOLA sections. I imagine it's about a 10 hour trip to Dallas. [image: 1686574259921-screenshot-2023-06-12-at-7.49.58-am.png]

@George-K said in FIL is getting a trans operation: @89th said in FIL is getting a trans operation: This man loves a steak that’s still mooing. (off topic, sorta) If you haven't watched "Longmire," you should. "So Walt, how do you like your steak?" "Grab it with a pair of tongs, wave it over a flame and yell 'FIRE!' and put it on my plate." Knock it in the head, wipe its ass and throw it on the plate.

In theory, that is kind of a good idea. The actual execution would never work. But, the idea that Italy has to do something is true. It will take "out of the box" thinking. I think that there is freedom of work movement across the EU countries. Maybe try some incentives with other countries in the former East Europe, etc. For example, in addition to a job, also provide them a house, each year they gain X% ownership as long as they are working in Italy, so after a certain number of years, they own the house for "free".

@Doctor-Phibes said in Big Money is coming to gender equality: This is what rich people do. If we want it to stop, then it's the system that needs to change. I agree with Napoleon on this matte; that the purpose of organised religion is stop poor people from killing rich people.

I think I’ve mentioned before how there was a good podcast interview about this with the (quitting) NY Times film critic: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/03/23/podcasts/the-daily/ao-scott-film-critic-american-cinema-movies.html
