That was justified... [image: thats-funny-laughing.gif] He is being held in the Dallas County jail on a $150,000 bond, according to jail records. In Cook County, he would have been released on his own recognizance.

@jon-nyc said in When to NOT do CPR: No, his little body was too crushed. Petey never left a mark in him, but did just crush his little body. "God damn you," Petey cried. "Why do you got to get killed? You ain't so little as mice. Now I won't get to tend the rabbits. Now she won't let me." No living off the Fat of the Land for Petey, I suppose.

@Doctor-Phibes said in Biden visits Hawaii: @Aqua-Letifer said in Biden visits Hawaii: But in order to understand why a channel can still be called mainstream even though no one watches it, you have to look at the numbers. It's mainstream like mainstream jazz. Exactly so.

Good conversation about the incident: Link to video They both agree to the obvious, that Ramaswamy wasn't intending to present a 9/11 conspiracy about American agents on planes as plausible. But they also talk about how Ramaswamy could have walked back that miscue more forthrightly. I agree he would have looked better if he'd just admitted he misspoke, and moved on. He didn't need to frame the reporter's questions as a disingenuous politically motivated attacks.

@Jolly Of course I am. But it is interesting that the DRPK is the only country currently that the US government says that it is illegal to travel there. The 10 "best" passports for visa free travel are: 2023 rank Passport issuing country Visa-free destinations 1 Singapore 192 2 Germany 190 2 Italy 190 2 Spain 190 3 Austria 189 3 Finland 189 3 France 189 3 Japan 189 3 Luxembourg 189 3 South Korea 189 3 Sweden 189

Cable cars are apparently a common method of travel in rural areas of Pakistan. They got a few out by helicopter, the rest by a rigged up harness system. When I saw the car itself, it certainly would have been scary. Just a flimsy open metal cage.
