Mrs. George is suggesting we Doordash (a new verb!) some Popeye's chicken tonight.

It's been decades since I had it, so I really don't remember.

Is it spicy? OK for me, but not for the management.

You can get it mixed or just mild. I've loved it for years, but the last time I had it was awful. I do recommend the red beans and rice highly.

The spicy is not very spicy for me, but MFR likes it mild. 😢

        Mild or mixed.

Quality can depend on the franchise.

Worth it for the red beans and rice.

They also have crawfish, that’s interesting.

Their spicy chicken sandwich was really big a few years ago. I personally didn’t understand the fuss, but :shouldershrug:

I didn't understand that either. It was an ok chicken sandwich.

Popeye’s is not as consistent as McDonald’s.
It depends on the specific Popeye store.
              Good luck with yours.

Popeye has big plans for mainland China. Wants to open 1700 stores.

"Popeyes’ relaunched menu includes dishes aimed at capturing the Chinese palate, such as seafood burgers, tea-flavored milk shakes, rice and golden cheese and chicken nuggets. The chain also hopes to attract younger customers by building modern storefronts with jazz music and colorful art. "
