Given Trump’s stated position regarding NATO, a second term for Trump could witness the US distancing itself from ongoing NATO initiatives. Like electric cars, I think that solar is not there yet. The "hype" does not yet meet the reality. Once battery storage capability and efficient increases (which it will), things will be much better. But I would guess that the amount of solar panels that end up in garbage piles is much less than <<< 1% of the total garbage generated worldwide. There are so many things that are not recycled very well
