Again, the coverup is not the point. I can start a separate string of threads about those cases, if you like?

@taiwan_girl said in "Hold the business owners accountable": Hopefully she is not saying something that is as dumb as it sounds. Maybe she is talking about stores that are selling drugs, etc and something happens due to that. No. I thought the same. It is exactly what she stated.

It’s a particular favorite of mine as my daughter soloed it at her senior recital. But for church? Not even.

@Copper said in Who Dis?: The Duck of Death is such a great line The first time it's said, you assume that Little Bill just can't read. Then, you realize he's just saying it, repeatedly, to piss Bob off.

@George-K said in Knockin' Eggs: @Mik said in Knockin' Eggs: Never heard of it in Ohio. Looking at Jolly's Wikipedia link, I don't see anything about this being a tradition in Northern Eastern European countries either. Being of Lithuanian/Russian heritage, I just assumed it was. It's a strong tradition in many areas of South Louisiana. And it can be very competitive... Guinea eggs boiled point down in coffee grounds are very good ... Also around here, we have quite a few families of Czech descent...They paint eggs.

Why aren’t Republicans worried about Russia? Because we’re already facing worse Marxism at home.

@jon-nyc said in How I spent my Monday evening: True, but a 12’ Hobie catamaran sails quite a bit different than a 41’ Island Trader Ketch. Yeah… If we lived a little closer to a good body of water, I’d get a Hobie Cat. They are like the moped of sailing craft…

I think it is a real airplane, but watching that video I wasn't sure. XB1 is an abbreviation for the Microsoft gam console - XBox 1. And a lot of that video looks like the Flight Sim App to me. The Flight Sim is getting better at looking real.
