I went to an all girls school. It had gates and a fence around the campus, and when they opened them up at lunch time or at the end of the school day, there were always a bunch of guys hanging out just outside the gates waiting for the girls to come out. LOL

I don't think Rishi Sunak's race had much to do with his selection as party leader. Interestingly, there have been a number of non-white conservative cabinet ministers of late. It's worth noting that typically, they're quite a distance to the right of their Caucasian brethren, particularly when discussing immigration. a decade and a half of horror That's hilarious

@George-K said in Russian election: “ SHOCKER: Putin Wins Re-Election With Only 87% of Vote.” That is shocking - a big loss in popularity. I seem to think last time he got 105%.

She was 25 minutes late so we missed the movie (Dune 2). The first 20~25 minutes after the nominal start time are used to show previews anyway, right, @George-K ?

It might have been a false positive too. Both my dad and I tested positive for B one time, but never again. At that time there were no treatments short of interferon.

@George-K It could have been performative to make the news. China doesn’t have the same standard of IRBs and consent that we have.

Might be a good time to buy soon. My buddy bought a house in Napa in 2009 for $300k. Worth a million now.

oops!!! I am guessing that Mr. Scherr "resigning" was more of the board telling him, "bet you didn't realize that your last day with the company would be March 31?"

Eisenhower, Washington, A Johnson, Jackson, Taft, Taylor, Grant, I guess winning wars wasn't part of the calculation. Garfield, Arthur, Pierce, Harrison and Hayes have the highest scores for generals, am I missing someone?

@taiwan_girl said in Measels: https://www.wusf.org/health-news-florida/2024-03-01/measles-what-to-know-florida-outbreak The U.S. declared the measles virus eradicated more than 20 years ago, but clusters of outbreaks have popped up. There’s one now in Florida. State Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo wrote a letter to parents of the school experiencing the outbreak that it was up to them if they wanted to send their children back to class, even if they’re not vaccinated against this virus. Old news. Guess what? The outbreak died out. https://www.flgov.com/2024/03/08/florida-department-of-health-leading-the-nation-again-florida-successfully-balances-personal-responsibility-parents-rights-and-public-health/
