@George-K said in "White guy tacos": https://x.com/Tim_Walz/status/1824215589662998607 Sounds pretty racist to me. Or maybe just weird. Def cringe. Everything is anthropology. Kamala's cultured and knows about food. Walz doesn't, by his own admission, because he's white. And he needs someone like Kamala to "expand his food knowledge." And because Walz is such a piece of shit white guy, Kamala can make jokes about his eating cantaloupes because that's exactly the kind of lame-ass shit white guys eat. When Dave Chapelle made similar jokes about his own group back in the early 2000s, it was because he was trying to be so offensive that he'd be kicked off television. In other words, he knew how offensive it was. These aren't comedians, they're political running mates. People who are at the bottom of the scale when it comes to taking communication risks. They see nothing at all wrong about this.

I could see where that would be a good cake. Looking at the others, the Guiness cake might be interesting. The Almond Joy cake is a derivative of a similar cake popular down here thirty years ago. Baking is interesting. It doesn't lend itself to variation like other cooking skills. One of my cousins is a pretty successful baker...Competed on Food Network, has a busy bakery. His dad was a college professor and bought a bakery when he retired. Being an old Chem prof, he was a stickler for exact measurements and processes, and improved upon the previous owner's recipes. Of his kids, one really helped work in the bakery and discovered he had a flair for the decorating side. The boy runs the bakery now, the dad is gone. He's getting within ten years of retirement and I don't know if any of his children are interested in keeping it going.

Maga projection. Show me what they accuse the democrats of doing, and I’ll show you what they’re guilty of.

I watched a couple of their other videos. Interesting sound, consistent style. It would be better if they all had subtitles.

College age population is dropping. It is only going to get worse for colleges and what they will do. EDIT: Maybe not, at least based on the graphic below. That article was beneath him. For a sitting AG to claim executive privilege is very different than a private citizen who, some years earlier, spent a few months as a consultant in the west wing. Also there’s no way Bannon would be in club fed had he shown up and claimed privilege. He just blew congress right off. Recall his case went in front of Roberts who was fine with him having three hots and a cot at federal expense for a few months.

@Jolly said in CMS releases negotiated price list: Yeah, but... How many new drugs does the developing world need? Let's take something like erythromycin...For years erythromycin was dirt cheap, especially when compared with zithromax. Erythromycin had the disadvantage of more frequent and more total doses, but both antibiotics were killing essentially the same bugs. There are multiple drugs like that out there and I suspect physicians in those countries often choose the cheapest drug that is effective. Mostly for diseases we can’t now cure. Gene therapies for sickle cell anemia are in trials now. Africa is the largest market by patient count. US by dollar volume. I think it's going to be very interesting when the patents run out on the first-generation biologicals. Depends on which. Plasma products, for example, are very different as there are actual diseconomies of scale. (To get a marginal new plasma donor generally costs more than your existing donors). So the economics are very different. (By the way, gene therapies are considered biologics by the FDA so they’ll stay relevant for the foreseeable future)

You can certainly call him a coward or an opportunist, but the blame for the narrative rests on the entire political tribe that embraces it, against all available facts, for their own tribal rhetorical gain. At the cost of psychological abuse of every black person who believes the narrative.

No, I was home. I think maybe it was better to be home wishing you were there than there wishing you were home. Of course we were spinning the album as soon as it came out.
