Play a Bechstein and a Yamaha CF series in the same size side by side and you'll also prefer the Yamaha.

I mean, you can have each person in the country count one ballot, and then ask the remaining half billion people to double check their work.

That should bring a much needed boost to the richest bit of England. If they really want to help, they should emigrate to the north. Having said that, most Telegraph readers and writers think the Cotswolds is in the north of England.

@Horace said in The Op Report: I think it is noble to save everybody regardless of the asshole factor, and indeed I believe high quality health care in our prisons defines us as an evolved and decent society. But I don't think Trump supporters should ever be resuscitated. The voice of reason. We must keep @Horace feeling safe.

MRI is totally different technology. Water molecules are polar - they have a positive side and a negative side, sort of like a magnet. The oxygen in the molecule is (relatively) negatively charged, and the two hydrogen atoms are (relatively) positively charged. By exposing a water molecule to a magnetic field, you can get it to "line up" along the magnetic field. Humans (and other animals) are mostly water, and different tissues have different amounts of water. So, in theory, if you can get a magnet powerful enough, you can make ALL the water molecules in a body line up along the magnetic field. Since different tissues have different amounts of water, it's possible to use a computer to differentiate the amounts of water in each tissue - and to generate a photo.

I doubt anybody will be shocked if it eventually comes out that there were anti-Trump forces at play that did what they could, to allow for the riot. I've never lost sight of the fact that, with better security and that identical mob, Jan 6 would have been a blip. As it is - it will appear in history books for school children, and those books will be written by people who are fully behind the insurrection narrative.

That's probably why he gave up the title, he knew it wasn't deserved.

But you wouldn’t be able to show it off to your friends and family before, during, or immediately after. And you would have to pay extra to share with random strangers.

@jon-nyc said in Fucking Disney: That was precisely the case we talked about here a month or so ago. Someone died after his wife died of anaphylactic shock after eating something with some allergen in it that wasn’t supposed to be there. They said he waived his right to sue when he signed up for Disney+. IIRC Disney backed down after they got bad press about it. That was the part that got the press, but it was one small part of the entirety of Disney’s argument. They actually listed multiple agreements like that that the guy had signed off on. Buying tickets to the park? Waiver… Staying at a Disney Hotel? Waiver… Use the Disney Parks App? Waiver… Sign up for Disney Plus? Waiver… First, the waiver didn’t remove his rights for compensation, it just stated that he would need to take it to arbitration instead of civil courts. But it’s a power move without teeth. There have been multiple cases where these type of waivers have been found to be unenforceable in cases of negligence, which this clearly was. Yes, Disney can send their lawyers to attempt to muscle the guy into going to arbitration, yes, they could scare the hell out of Joe Blow and some attorney that rents his office space by the hour… And that probably works more often than not… But in a case of negligence and extreme damage, those waivers aren’t worth the electrons they are projected upon.
