He mentioned that he has now passed the billionth viewer on his channel, and has 2 million subscribers. Maybe it was only 1 million. At any rate, he mentioned that he has made over 7 million dollars off of YouTube over the years. That's why a guy like Molyneux pleads for people to send him money, since demonetization is a killer. Bret Weinstein, Dave Rubin, and many others depend on their work making Youtube videos, it's a major source of income. Tim Pool mentioned today that it's only a matter of time until YouTube pulls the plug on his channel, since YouTube has already demonetized most of his videos. How would you like your boss to say, "I don't like what you said this week, so no payment until you smartly decide to agree to our ideology." Also may be that Joe Rogan saw this all coming, so he will be going to Spotify and earning millions. I'm sure Rogan will gladly flip off YouTube, on his way to greener grass.
