I'm no racist. I love black people! I think every white man ought to own one. (Note. The above is a joke. Tasteless? Of course, but this racist stuff is to the point of being laughed at.)

@Mik said in To Destroy a Family: Assimilation in any society means becoming more like the dominant group. See the comments from the article in The Atlantic, where the statistics professor comments how "disparity in data" are now considered to be discriminatory.

You know, that's a good contrast. Would you prefer someone like Pence (Biden?) who is a skilled politician at what to say and not say, or Trump, who just pukes it out?

@jon-nyc said in Andrew Sullivan: This is very Weimar: Both of you are essentially arguing that he couldn’t have prevented the outbreak of protests ergo how they ran their course was out of his hands. Like nothing else he could do or say could matter in how the protests/riots unfolded. I agree. Trump should have come out after Floyd was killed and said, "If I had a son, he'd look like George. I mean, if I had banged Omarosa."

If I was going to make a list of the people I would trust to make sensible decisions in a global pandemic, you can be very sure that Ron Paul wouldn't be on it. I'd be more likely to trust Ru Paul.

@Copper said in Broken Browser: ESPN has been all over the politics of BLM for several months. They love, love, love, love, love BLM. Ask George to show you how to use google, you'll see. Or you could search for blm in espn.com. My question remains. What happened? Your question is unanswerable unless you know how many political vs sports articles they publish. 1 a day, 10 a day, 1 a week? As with other news outlets, their editorial decisions are driven by Twitter. Nothing is gonna change overnight.

Adam Schiff will clearly want to get to the bottom of this, as the truth always guides him. I’ll never forget his higher purpose. Go Adam!
