Lots of people do not like what other people do with their freedom, but just putting up with it in the hope that others will also put up with what one does with one’s freedom.

I have a friend who is an ER doc who said that a woman who died in the ER might have lived if anyone, including the victim had thought to apply pressure to the wound. We seem to relish teaching people oodles of things they likely will never need to know - but first aid is one of those things it would be helpful to teach and refresh from time-to-time.
