Shoot, I can out-zero Lara Croft on her best day, no problemo.

I just don't happen to feel like it right now. 😕

They can do a second sequel study where they establish that systemic racism serves to enhance motivation to overcome obstacles, providing a richer and more fulfilled life experience.

Seems odd. People are lined up around the block (so to speak) to buy guns. When there is such high demand, how can Remington go bankrupt? I assume they are making guns people don't want to buy, but I also suspect management screwed up over the years, making lousy decisions?

Happy birthday for sure. Tell us about your birthday exploits.

    Thanks, everybody!

Not much to report here in reality, but in Neverwinter we tracked down some vampires, I killed a brewery foreman with a combination of harsh words and a lightning bolt to the chest, and then we took some ale barrels for compensation before the building caught fire.

Also played a lot with the kiddo. She has a very large, very fuzzy d20 to play with now. Mostly she uses it as a stool.

The thought of owning one and using it in public and fielding all the questions from random people about it is horrifying.

Her plan was to row 12 hours out of every 24, and apparently did so for 60 days. That's a hell of a load on a 60 year old body, regardless of being in good shape.

Nothing I have found states how she died. I wonder if she was tethered but in the water for the anchor repair. .

People over 65 years old use Medicare, a government program.

About 27 million are uninsured. For the most part, this means they don't want health insurance because if they can't afford it the government will buy it for them. You can debate what is affordable.

The rest generally buy private insurance, either by paying out of their own pocket or by sharing the cost with an employer.

And of course if you have the money you can just pay for healthcare out of your pocket.

And of course if you are young and healthy you might not consume healthcare at all. I went for decades without paying for any healthcare except may a few dentist visits.

I think a lot of the time/effort/talk/discussion/arguments/etc is just political rhetoric.
