Remember the guy who got a Nobel for finding H. Pylori tested it by ingesting the bacteria. The first cardiac cath was done by a guy who put a urinary catheter (stent) into his own vein and injected dye to watch. He got a Nobel as well.

@Renauda said in I thought Canadians were polite?: No we’re not always polite. We can be quite mean spirited bastards when it suits us. Occasionally and deservedly even “bitter assholes” towards some. That's why I love admire you.

When G2 was born, D4 wanted to have his middle name reflect both grandads. His other grandfather's name is "Dan." So, they named him "Jordan." Get it? George and Dan. I suggested reversing the name - "Dan-Jor." She declined.

https://apnews.com/article/new-york-migrant-bus-lawsuit-texas-1c8e515f9c57d50dbbd66606f995ec24 New York City can’t use an unconstitutional, two-century-old “anti-pauper” law to block the state of Texas from offering migrants free bus rides to the city from the southern border, a state judge has ruled. The court on Thursday dismissed a lawsuit brought by Mayor Eric Adams in January against charter bus companies contracted by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. It sought to bar them from knowingly dropping off “needy persons,” citing an 1817 state law that criminalized bringing an indigent person into the state “for the purpose of making him a public charge.” Justice Mary Rosado said in a sternly worded decision that the law is unconstitutional for several reasons. For one, she wrote, states are not permitted to regulate the interstate transportation of people based on their economic status. The statute also “violates a fundamental right — the right to travel,” she added.

Somebody on here, maybe even you, talked about a similar type of thing with people. Something like "Streisand Effect" but I know it is not that.

@Horace said in Vance: @taiwan_girl said in Vance: @Horace said in Vance: He was not chosen because he's a yes man. We will see. President Trump does not seem to tolerate people who disagree with him. Pompeo was just rejected from the cabinet. He is known to be a world class Trump boot licker. Trump may not be exactly who you thought he was. I hope you are right, but one data point does not prove a theory. I dont think his campaign was a whole lot different from the first two. So, I am not sure the way he will pick personnel will be different.

Was he able to do some of the stuff he writes about while he was superindentent? How much independent would he have add to do so?

It is what it is. More voter "apathy" in this election. People realized that life goes on regardless of who is president. COVID in 2020 etc. To imply that there was 15MM vote fraud, with each side doing about equal fraud seems impossible. If there were 15MM difference in one state and the other 49 were similar totals to 2020, then yeah, maybe there is something. But to have it across all 50 states and equal by both sides (and not having a single person come forward to talk about it) would be the greatest achievement of all time. That would almost be the same as saying Melania Trump has been replaced by a body double. Oh wait....................

The FOX video was Lindy Li, who has been on FOX News multiple times since the election was held. Her attitude for a Dem is refreshing. Probably too honest for many in her party. And she agrees with LuFin about Biden's FU (her words, not mine) to the party.

So i noticed she looked older/nip-tuck. I chalked it up to " so, ok." Let me look further. Hmmm. the "new" Melania is pretty hot too. Hell, I like them both. Whatever works...
