Because if a ton of people in nursing homes are seriously damaged by it, the subsequent lawsuits would put Pfizer out of business?

Lots of trials right now where people are doing fine. I think you can calculate how many old people die for every day delay. How humane is that. I know I would give to my parents and take the risk and not sue.

I thought the American Dream v 2.0 was to have something bad happen to a family member and to then become a multi-millionaire following the lawsuit.

I know, I know, I'm being overly cynical. The actual dream is to have something mildly aggravating happen and then sue them for emotional turmoil caused.

It's a field hospital they're setting up at the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds. It'll be for those who are "walking wounded" - IOW, sick, but not needing ICU or anything. Perhaps some IVs and O2.
