The most frustrating part is having to switch providers. I am sick of this whole thing where you sign up for a one year contract at $40, then at the end of the contract your price is $90, unless you threaten to leave, then the price is $75. In the meantime, new clients get $40. No loyalty to pre-existing customers, it's all about getting them to switch. So if that's the game, then that's the game. See you in 24 months, Verizon...

It is easy to say (and many people do) things such as: buy more USA made stuff every worker should make USD $XX per hour no full time worker should have to: (take food stamps, work two jobs, go on welfare, etc etc) But, most of us if buying two dresses of the same quality, one from US for USD$100 and one from China for USD$50, will buy the $50 dress will enjoy a cheap all you eat Chinese buffet, which is so cheap because the workers are illegal and work only for tips, no salary complain if the cost of fruit and vegetables increases, because the food companies have to pay a higher rate to the people who pick the fruits and vegetables

Come to the worker paradise of DPRK. They claim to be the only country in the world that does not do taxes. In fact, they have even a special day - April 1, designated as Tax Retirement Day which was the day they retired all taxes in the country.

An alternative might be to have her phone connect automagically all the time, and when she's not in the car, use a NFC button to turn my bluetooth to connect to CarPlay. However, if I leave the car, the device will remember my phone, and not hers. I'd have to remember to disconnect my bluetooth from the device when I leave the car with another tap on the NFC device. Easier than unplugging, but....
