I'd put in a "Western World" caveat. Asian countries are generally more capable of containing these things for a variety of reasons.
Yes, they can contain the reporting. That is so much easier than containing the disease.
But we have learned a lot in recent years are catching up quickly.
Disagree with you a little bit there copper. I think the main difference is that in Asian countries, there is more of a âsocietyâ mindset, rather than an âindividualâ mindset.
This makes it easier, to have rules like mask wearing, or something like that, which as is being seen in the US, I think it have hurt the overall response to Covid.
I agree. I would also look at age demographics, obesity and heart disease.

I once learned that winning a close one is not so great because lots of things can happen outside your control that may cause you to lose, you need to win by a lot. I never forgot that.
