The paperwork you sign at closing is oriented towards formalizing who holds the deed and the lien. So many variables. There are very few cases where 1 person owns the whole team. In most cases there are ownership groups with different shares. In some cases, majority owners have salaried positions with the team, in others they don’t. There are a few owners that own their stadiums (greatly increasing their income) but most don’t. Then you have Green Bay...
