Not as much as you might think. 8.5 hours to drive. An hour to the airport, an hour at the airport, two hours with boarding and flight, half an hour for bags and rental, hour to beach. You only save s couple hours by flying.

On the story of bridges, there is an expressway bridge that needs to be replaced between Illinois and Iowa over the Mississippi River Rather than tear the old bridge down, there is a (possible) plan to make the old bridge a bison crossing with a national park at each end. Not just Google, but also Facebook, Apple, Microsoft, etc. Apple is probably worse than others because, while the likes of Google, Facebook, and Microsoft derive revenues from China, Apple is also highly reliant on China for the manufacturing of its hardware products. Despite China blocking access to Google from within China, businesses in China still buy advertisements from Google. Lots of entertainment content produced by businesses in China is available on Google's YouTube.
