Then there are those who ask the student questions like, "Why do you think Schumann chose this articulation for these measures," and the poor student has to guess what the teacher is thinking, and they're too much in awe to say "...'cause he thought it should be STACCATO MAYBE?? WHY ELSE???" Congrats on quoting an 11 year old post. Your memory still seems to work well. Sometimes.
