Thanks for the update and the fascinating history, Horace.

I love old stories like that.

And, I'm glad your dad's doing OK.

Same here. I enjoyed the story, and wish your father the best.

Heck, I would do it even without that $100K if I could just get away from my existing responsibilities for that one month. Would be a bonus if a functional piano is thrown in.

    Not that I "need" ..

This was an interesting quote from the article:

"Hillary Clinton ‘winning’ Wyoming’s primary despite being summarily trounced by Bernie Sanders in the popular vote — with her 44 percent to his 56 percent — simply evidence the latest example of the farcical illusion of choice..."

You forgot former presidential candidate, and Intelligence Committee member Swalwell and his "relationship" with an alleged Chinese spy.

Prior to the election CNN had two stories about Biden's laptop. One dealt with "The New York Post's dubious story" and the other speculating about it being Russian disinformation.

No, she's the anti-Karen. Karen would have reported her for not wearing a mask.

    To the manager.

A few salient clarifications. No one knows what is required to get to herd immunity. 70-90% is an estimate not backed up by direct observation (there’s no concrete data on this yet).

He’s used the low end of that estimate at some points and high end at others.

If I recall correctly, Stravinsky made changes to "The Firebird" during his life so that copyrights would remain in his name.

We sometimes create a physical image of people who we have never met - and then when you see them, it in no way corresponds to the reality. In the other place we had a thread with most of our photos - a good reference though I look about 50 years older than I did then.

I can see both sides, but I agree - we have to ultimately come down on the side of First Amendment rights. Outside school it becomes a parental matter, in which I hope parents would have a backbone.

I had a bottle of Dom for y2k. We were on the streets of Copacobana, I paid a vendor to keep it in his ice. We walked up 5m before midnight and the motherfucker was just about to sell it.

    But we saved it.
