Not an NBA fan, but nice to see a small market team win...

@axtremus said in How many 89ths does it take to change a light bulb?: Worse case is you hire an electrician to replace the entire fixture. Before that, you can try breaking the glass and replacing just the glass. Before that, you can also try inviting your neighbor @brenda to come over to give it a good ole college try. She might even go over with a basket of baked goods so there is only upside for you. It's just a single fixture. Probably can buy something similar looking at the Borg for $40. Cut the power off at the breaker, take a snap with your phone on how it's wired, and replace.

Unless the governing body can proof that a particular design or material of clothing confers a measurable artificial advantage, just let the athletes where whatever they want.

@george-k said in Jon, you owe $85,400: @jon-nyc is no longer in NYC. Dodged a bullet, LOL. Now what does each US taxpayer owe in the national debt.... Ha. The article had the number 225k for US taxpayer, though from the number it seems like per household.

I liked Top Gear, but stopped Grand Tour after two episodes or so. Everything was so scripted and artificial; the lightness and spontaneity of TG was gone.

Duck is wonderful. Hubby and I love it. Nice way to use the rendered fat with the sweet potatoes.

Same old, same old. When the Russians reveal something like this, it makes you wonder what they're NOT revealing. Ditto the US. The F=117 was in production for how long before its existence was revealed in the 1990s? F-35 cutting edge (despite all of its issues)? Cutting edge of what they show us.

I actually think he's going overboard. Peterson was an astonishing technician, but he isn't normally mentioned when people are talking about the absolute top jazz greats.
