@klaus said in I'll cross that bridge when...:

There is no reason to make a bridge for tourists particularly efficient.

Yup. Like they say at the racetrack, there's always fresh.

Good to know! I have a few heavier items I'll need to mount soon (including a 75" TV) so I'll be going with the Toggler Snaptoggler for sure. The interesting part is I have to mount it on a wall that looks like it has been mounted on before (some patching of the drywall) so I might need to do some extra framing (such as mounting wood onto the wall, then mounting the TV mount onto the wood) first.

I saw that on TV and was wondering how in hell there just happened to be someone there, also clearly stopped by the road, to film it and that the perps ignored that car and abandoned the dog right in front of them.

    Curious.

Imagine living in another country right now that is struggling to find vaccines... then looking at our country and seeing a fear that people might be getting it too often! Oh and getting $100 for it each time.

    USA FTW lolz

    But seriously.

Person advertised that people can pick these items up for free... Grandfather clocks are not a highly desired item.

    https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/gop-liaison-arizona-audit-says-he-resigning-won-t-be-n1275285

The Republican serving as liaison between the Arizona state Senate and the private company conducting a partisan ballot review said Wednesday he intends to resign, citing his inability to back the final product.

Ken Bennett, a former Arizona secretary of state, said he made the decision after it became clear he would not regain access to the Phoenix fairgrounds where the private company, Cyber Ninjas, continues its examination of millions of ballots cast last November in Maricopa County.

"Right now I’m the liaison in name only," he told conservative radio host James Harris Wednesday. "I don’t know if that makes me a LINO or what."
    ...

Earlier report characterized him as the "director," this report says he's the "liaison", and will soon not be. 🤷‍♂️

I met his father (Sam, iirc) when I was a medical student on the neurology service.

    https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/bob-odenkirk-better-call-saul-heart-attack-1234989892/

Bob Odenkirk is in stable condition at a New Mexico hospital Wednesday, a day after suffering a heart attack while in production on the sixth and final season of AMC’s Better Call Saul.

“We can confirm Bob is in stable condition after experiencing a heart-related incident,” reps for the actor said in a statement Wednesday afternoon. “He and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew and producers who have stayed by his side. The Odenkirks would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes and ask for their privacy at this time as Bob works on his recovery.”

Sources say production was a little more than halfway done on the final season at the time of Odenkirk’s heart attack. Production remained halted Wednesday as everyone involved with the series remains focused on Odenkirk’s health. It’s unclear how long production will remain down. Reps for both AMC and producers Sony Pictures Television have yet to comment.

“He’s going to be okay,” tweeted Bob’s son, Nate Odenkirk, on Wednesday afternoon.

I wonder which has declined more over the last 5 years, olympic viewing figures or Drudge's readership.

Probably Drudge. Ever since he sold out and the site went lamestream, parroting the legacy media, it wasn't worth fooling with.
