I've just glued myself to the local Ford dealership. They refused to sell me a Ford GT for the price of an EcoSport. Well, when I say 'glued', I'm actually rolling around on the floor of their showroom having a temper tantrum. I didn't want to spend gas money on glue.

Good illustration for why modern fire codes require a dry-chemical fire extinguisher being visible and accessible in or near the egress of a kitchen.

Unfortunately, I do not see any change. ROK has tried "sunshine policy" with DPRK, tried the opposite of that, and the result is the same. DPRK is very smart about bending jussssssst a little bit to give you hope, and then SLAM!! Back to where you were. From their perspective (and I believe that they truely believe it), it really is "us vs them", and if they give in even a little bit, they will be taken over. They dont see any way of it ending well for them (the elite) if they give in to ROK or the West.

@Axtremus said in That darned DeSantis...: Ah, more of that "State dictating school curriculum" that Conservatives love so much. So much for "local control." Personally, though, I have no problem with teaching Communism (along with other major ideologies) in schools. The focus on Mao, Stalin, and Castro, however, seems to unnecessarily narrow the treatment of the subject. How can you skip over Marx and Lenin and still claim to teach Communism? It's not a 'Communism in theory and practice' type course like you might have in college, it's specifically to communicate Communism's horrors. Remember it's in support of "Victims of Communism Day" or some such.

@Copper said in Will CNN fund a Trump campaign for 2024?: Trump people are sooo stupid I thought it was liberals that were all complete morons? I'm pretty sure a couple of people here have said that. Occasionally, right after complaining about being mischaracterized as dunderheads themselves.
