Coban = with latex Coflex = latex free Outward appearance the same, same use in the lab (post-phlebotomy), Coflex costs a wee bit more.

I've worked with the CDC a couple of times on a small research project - a completely different department from this, but still.... I found the people there to be extremely careful, possibly to a fault, and very willing to learn, but with a distinct tendency to get lost in the weeds.

@taiwan_girl said in "Let's go Brandon" on airplanes: @Doctor-Phibes said in "Let's go Brandon" on airplanes: Or worse still, seeing him walking slowly down the plane corridor, and thinking 'please don't be next to me, please don't be next to me...' I was on a plane once, there was only two open seats, one next to me and one across the aisle next to another guy. All of a sudden, this extremely heavy guy starts walking down the aisle. I catch eyes with the guy across the aisle, and we both know we are thinking the same thing, "please dont sit next to me! Please dont sit next to me!" I felt like I won the lucky ticket when he went and sat next to the other guy. 55555 Yes, we've all been there. I think the worst-case scenario is some English wanker wearing an enormous sombrero and an offensive t-shirt featuring donkeys, who is making a connection on his way home from a holiday in Spain, and has been in the pub for the last 5 hours. And no, George, I don't own a sombrero. At least, not anymore.

@George-K said in This looks good on Netflix: Chamberlain is still wrong eighty-four years later. OK, so I should go back to were I was, before watching the movie.

I am pretty sure someone posted here: "Most modern day orchestras are nothing more than 1700's-1800's cover bands!" But yes, music does evolve. US country music 1950's is very different from 2010's country music. Does that make one country music and the other not country music? Ummmm, probably not. For most people (of course not every one), the ages from maybe 10-30 set your musical tastes and personal understanding of what a certain "genre" if music should sound like.

@Axtremus said in John Oliver on Critical Race Theory: Link to video Comfortable and casual leftist pop culture racism. Even some joke thievery thrown in, that was nice. Time travel for white people is an old Louis CK joke.

Good piece and reasoned observation and argument. I too fully expect the People’s Party to gain ground because of this. All to the detriment of the Conservative Party. As I also said in another thread, I also anticipate that Trudeau’s brand is over and he too will be replaced.

@jon-nyc I agree it is a good piece. He hits the nail squarely on the head regarding Trudeau as a champion of identity politics. That has been his brand throughout his tenure in office. This time to his lasting detriment as leader of the Liberal Party. His leadership was already in question - after losing his majority in 2019 and being forced into a minority then repeating it again without any seat gains in an extremely unpopular and unnecessary election last September. I suspect that sooner rather than later, he will either announce he is stepping down or the Liberal Party machine will do it for him in order to bring the party back towards its more traditional and centrist base.
