@Axtremus said in Bette Midler: Get out and vote!: Pfffttt ... are any of you people with uteri? What do you know? Yeah let's talk about this. I'm calling you out, Ax. What are your experiences with abortion? I'm going to guess you're talking completely out of your ass.

I think there is a definite benefit to being exposure to various dirt and germs, but this is taking it to a extreme!!!

Some people believe there is a correlation between eating and weight. Once you get past this, there are all kinds of interesting variations.

@Doctor-Phibes said in Andrew Sullivan on Sunak: I notice that he’s carefully avoided mentioning the mayor of London Sadiq Khan in that article. True. But Barack Obama had more importance as a symbol than, say Harold Washington or Lori Lightfoot. I'll bet more than half the country doesn't know who those people were/are.

@Mik said in Wisdom from Vonnegut: And, what the computer people don't realize, or they don't care, is we're dancing animals. You know, we love to move around. And, we're not supposed to dance at all anymore. And we feel it. At least, I do. Since I stopped being a dancing animal, every cell in my body feels drenched in used motor oil. Getting out and sending thumbs-up to passing fire engines! That's the ticket!

Bless that woman. At a time when the us average fertility rate is only 1.7 (well below the 2.1 needed to prevent population decline), this woman is contributing well beyond her fair share. Patriots should thank her, pro-life folks should be overjoyed.

@Doctor-Phibes said in Tucker's Monologue: @Horace said in Tucker's Monologue: It is not difficult to understand his opinion as predicated entirely on the interests of the US. He sounds quite a bit like a number of folks in the 1930's, and we all know how well that worked out. Of course, describing sanctions against Russia as the woke left assaulting a country with traditional Christian values is beyond stupid, so I'm left wondering whether he has an agenda that he's not disclosing. Nor do I see how cheer leading or abetting Putin’s rape of Ukraine serves US interests.
