Soon, there will be no need for the ants. Mr. Biden is going to take care of it. How? By working together. Now, President Biden has reignited the Cancer Moonshot and set a new national goal: if we work together, we can cut the death rate from cancer by at least 50% over the next 25 years, and improve the experience of people and their families living with and surviving cancer. https://www.whitehouse.gov/cancermoonshot/

@Renauda said in The Dream Ticket for the GOP: @George-K I thought you might have shaved for that occasion. Since 1970, there are two times I shaved my facial hair. For my interview to medical school. I kept it off for about 5 months. In 1986 when Mrs. George said, "I wonder what you'd look like if..." I kept it off for 11 years. Either of those two events would have had more importance for me than a visit with (any) POTUS.

@George-K said in Did Hakeem do the right thing?: Remember the mantra, "Democrats are the crazy party and Republicans are the stupid party?" Yeah, well, the Democrats sure look stupid at the moment. Yup - I used to say that or a variant the party of crazies versus the party of crooks. But now, it seems that both parties have opted for crazy crooks - with a matter of degree to which element is more prominent.

@Jolly He was working for the Walker campaign, so probably not? But who knows, I’m pretty sure confusion reigned all around.

I think he coaches. https://larrybrownsports.com/football/report-reveals-where-sean-payton-will-end-up/610676 I don’t. The analyst position is a sweet gig. Everybody kept waiting for Cowher to come back, but he is quite happy… I dunno. Sean has already said he wants to coach and at 59, he ain't getting younger.

If this had come up when I was about to get a new car, I might have opted for this one as opposed to the Subaru Forester I have now - saved some money.

@Jolly said in Dimension X: Funny thing is, the grandkids really like the old radio shows, especially the comedies. If you want to try a British tint on old radio comedy, try The Goon Show from the 1950's. It's genuinely surreal, and was probably one of the most influential comedy shows in history - Monty Python clearly took a lot from it. Starring Peter Sellers, Spike Milligan, Harry Secombe. It streams on BBC Sounds - possibly elsewhere, too. There are over a hundred episodes out there.
