I wonder what would happen if a fighter jet going around mach 2 ran in/through a large weather balloon? Assuming the engines were not impacted, would it slice right through the balloon so fast that the pilot would barely feel it? Or, would it be like hitting a brick wall? They should try it.
Perhaps related - I was listening to a guest of Glenn Loury talk about the case - himself a professor of criminology and former cop. He was suspicious why the released video started when it did and not earlier. He was sure the earlier video existed and that it “probably wasn’t withheld because it made the cops look good”.
Perhaps the personal connection was made apparent in the earlier part of the video.
At any rate the prosecutor will have it.

I do know that that the air and ground search operation in progress was launched out of the Edmonton Garrison yesterday afternoon in conjunction with 418 Squadron based in Comox.
I spent some time with the CMO of the ALS foundation last week at the National Health Council’s leadership conference. They’re doing some interesting things.

I think she’s been diagnosed with a disorder or two. Also she suffered a significant brain injury as a child.
