Back to subject... Weird storm. NE is usually where the highest winds are found. Francine, because of wind shear, is strongest on the NW. Weird.

Again, don't obfuscate the simple fact that Trump's hours and schedule would have killed Biden. Killed. Graveyard dead, killed.

One point Trump made in the debate is that the Biden admin had an opportunity to repeal Trump's tariffs on china, but hasn't. This was in the context of Kamala claiming tariffs were a terrible idea. I think the moderators took Trump's cue and asked Kamala why the Biden administration hasn't repealed them, and she avoided the question.

Which other than being a federal rather than provincial explanation is the same Not exactly. Although I am almost 100% certain that she would have been charged under the Federal Criminal Code rather than legislated Provincial statute. It will become clear when she appears in Court and the charges are read. Provincial statutes normally although not always, only cover regulatory violations such as traffic excepting Dangerous Driving and Impaired Driving (both defined and prosecuted under the Federal Criminal Code), improper storage and disposal of industrial and hazardous waste materials or workplace health and safety issues. If willful negligence is determined as the cause of the regulatory violation jail time for those responsible could be the result. Perhaps the woman deserves the charges levied. May not have been the first time her bad behaviour warranted police intervention to settle a dispute with her neighbours. She had probably been duly warned; perhaps more than once.

If you really want to save money, just don't have kids. Or sell the ones you do have. First you save on the kids, then you save on not needing as much coffee, alcohol or prescription medication.

@George-K said in Dersh Walks: Lawyers defend guilty people - even if they are sure of the guilt. I remembering hearing one defending lawyer say that he never ever asks the client if they did it. He doesn't want to know. Just makes things more complicated if they confess to him.

I haven’t paid attention to the details on this. The FBI visited the dad last year about the sons threats to shoot up the school. Dad says he keeps the guns locked and kid has no access Then for Christmas dad buys crazy ass son his own AR-15. AFTER the FBI visited your house saying your son wants to shoot up the school Then son shoots up school. Lock him TF up.

In our condo, HOA fees can't be raised more that 10.25% (iirc) without the approval of the entire HOA by vote - and, I think it has to be more than a simple majority.

@jon-nyc said in Kamala Gets Dick: He’s changed not a whit. The GOP has been completely re deformed in the last 15 years. So much so that establishment republicans find the Dem candidate a better option. Which gives cover for other Republicans uncomfortable with todays party but who still admire Cheney the cover to do so. Yeah, I’ll cheer to that. Exactly. I haven't changed much since my support for the Bush/Cheney/Rice/et al days. You'd think republicans who previously defended Cheney during the 2000-2007 years see that he's not supporting Trump, you think that would ring a bell. It's amazing what the Church of Trump has done to some of the flock.
