Speaking of westerns, I watched E1 of American Primeval while cycling tonight. Pretty cliche and dark.

Vote for him because he loves minorities, and the democrats hate minorities.

@Horace said in It's Going To Be Different: DEI is dead. Because inferiors were given positions with responsibilities that did not suit them. Caught in a trap.

Another. https://x.com/hezbolsonaro/status/1877341391690359193?s=46 Reading that last sentence all I could think of is ‘Beirut is worth a Mass’. Not.

@jon-nyc said in Lithotripsy: George - what happens to the calcium bits that get dislodged? Filtered in the kidneys? Any risk of large pieces doing damage either at the kidney or along the way? In the case of arterial disease, the embolization of calcium is insignificant in obstruction of blood flow, according to the folks that are promoting this. The "pieces" are small enough to not be of concern. In the case of urologic ESWL, there are standards for how things should be handled. If a stone is >2 cm in size, a ureteral stent (a tube that goes from renal pelvis to bladder) should be inserted to allow fragments of the stone to pass down the ureter while urine flow is unobstructed due to the stent.

Speaking of winter coats, it's 2 degrees with windchill, and all my bloody stupid dog wants to do is run around in the back yard.

Tsar Vladimir could have awarded or marketed Putin Bibles but instead chose initialed crosses so not to appear a copycat of the banal. As a Russian he had to make it ostentatious yet solemn. He knew very well that macho Russian men covet gaudy bling. Especially when the bling can be linked to some sort of superstitious cult.
