You want government agencies to follow the law or do you want government agencies to not follow the law?

@Jolly , you should incorporate some deep state conspiracy theories, like Harris as the seating VP getting access to super advanced wireless ear pieces from spy agencies not available to Trump or anyone else.

Resistance is futile. Pollen rides the wind currents and goes where it will. Very few strains of corn have no modified genes. And...Just in the last couple of hundred years...Golden Bantam is one of the very few heritage sweet corn plants. It came along in the late 1800's and popularity really took off early in the 1900's when you could start to buy it commercially. Until then, yellow corn was for horse feed, people usually ate white corn, mostly as corn meal, roasting ears, grits or hominy. But, Golden Bantam is a cross between even older yellow sweet varieties. Now, having said all that, how many of you have ever grown Golden Bantam? It has a really good taste, sweet, but with a lot of "corn" flavor. And as far as I'm concerned, the juice ain't worth the squeeze. I can plant a good hybrid...Maybe an old one like Merit or Funk's G90, or a newer one like Peaches&Cream. It will make twice the ears, be sweeter and have a longer window of sweetness to pick it in. GB makes small ears and you better watch it like a hawk or you'll miss the best flavor window. GB works best for the backyard gardener who wants enough corn to eat fresh and put up a few ears, while keeping costs down by saving seeds. I'd rather pay $20, plant four rows and make 400 or 500 ears.

They tell me to allow for untrusted shortcuts but I don’t see that option [image: 1727998499062-5a8c2c11-d587-4e5c-a6a8-3a5e0ad56f33-image.png] [image: 1727998544374-61eeba42-8296-4717-af42-758822bf1266-image.png]

Can't we be content just with missiles that facilitate biodegradation?

@Horace there is that I suppose. Might be colored by your status as a former Californian.

As is usually the case, President Trump speaks on teh subject. Donald Trump is facing backlash for downplaying the traumatic brain injuries suffered by 109 U.S. service members after an Iranian ballistic missile attack in 2020. The Republican presidential candidate made the remarks at a campaign press event on Tuesday after a reporter asked him if he should have been “tougher” on Iran during his time in the White House following the attack that left troops injured. “First of all, injured, what does injured mean?” Trump replied. “You mean because they had a headache? Because the bombs never hit the fort.” https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-iran-soldier-injuries-headaches-b2622742.html

WOuldnt work. It would also require voters to nominate candidates that can actually speak at length on policy, coherently. I think that peoples attention spans are much shorter today. Having President Trump or VP Harris ramble for 30 minutes would not accomplish anything. I dont think that either could be able to speak at length coherently.

Its bad not to have to show ID, but the non-ID screening process and security is the same.

At one time I had 3 bottles of MacAllan in my stock - 10, 12, 15 year old. I set up a test. The difference between the 10 and 12 year was quite notable. The difference between 12 and 15 was notable, but not as much. That difference is $100. I can't find the 10 year old at my local store.

@Mik said in Kamala’s statement on Iran: [image: 460847206_10227674710072968_1164575960448055091_n.jpg?_nc_cat=1&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=833d8c&_nc_ohc=nRuY8QLc_8kQ7kNvgEp1R-p&_nc_ht=scontent.fluk1-1.fna&_nc_gid=AW9nc6lBCzre5J_UB8U5bev&oh=00_AYBE4i3QmQqWXnTXX-0niVp7CsYD2x4vbgqOYDBdymdVQw&oe=6703AFA9] That was one of Vance’s best tactics in the debate. Yes, it was done to death, but it kind of needed to be. And reminding people that instead of blindly trusting the promises of the future, both Presidential candidates have a record that you can look back on.
