    That sounds about right.

The idea of Evil Empire "foreign adventures" gets my attention.

@Jolly At this point we are forced to assume those people are commie spies.

@mark YEAH, so the federal government should pull them out of their ass... Tada, magic ass ventilators... Don’t hand me that bull. There’s been no one on this forum more against wasteful government spending and taxation than you. And having 30K ventilators in the national stockpile would have seemed wasteful. Hell, it still does

There's a lot of TADA! wishful hindsight among many people who know how government works, and are projecting some alternate reality about how fast government can move within our federal system.

Shucks, Hitler and Stalin bitched about people in their government not moving or producing fast enough...And they executed people to help speed things along...

What’s interesting is that the current right wing effort to discredit Fauci, which no doubt is the source of these clips, is ultimately motivated by a concern that he’s championing too strong a reaction.

The effort aligns his position more closely to Mr Trump’s

Therefore it is credit, not discredit

I think I have seen maybe 1 mask during the last 2 weeks.

    I don't get out much.

Absolutely. We've seen 1 day dips before.

    Yes, very sad.

I have fond memories of a tape I once had with him and his son Bradford playing. The word that occurred to me was mellifluous, for both of them.
