@brenda Mainland China’s face mask production capacity was around 110 million masks per day (late February statistics). China supplied half of the work’s face mask in 2019. Taiwan’s face mask production capacity and policy do not amount to much for the rest of the world in the grand scheme of things.

I have the impression that the mainland Chinese already discriminate against black (very dark-skinned) people even before the pandemic. The pandemic and (most likely government sanctioned) propaganda just exacerbate the discrimination.

We just got word that one of our delivery drivers lost their mother to a heart attack last night. No word about whether she was symptomatic, but I can’t help billy wonder if asymptomatic cases can still result in cardiac arrest for those at risk? She had HBP and Diabetes.
