Yup, people will use their race when it is to their advantage. People say: "We want to be treated equal and everyone should be colorblind" But also say: "Wait, when making the new election districts, this one does not have enough (whites/blacks/spanish/asians, etc). You must remake it to get more/less of that color into the district!!!!"

that is why it is so important that the US look outward rather than inward. Very very important to engage with other countries at times like this. Isolationism would be the wrong response at a time like this.

The only major tv streaming alternative is Hulu - owned by Disney. Many streaming services are planning on raising prices this year (including Hulu I think). Google could have taken the cost increase and passed it onto customers - but this is an interestingly hard stance by them. I’m sure they’re going to lose many subscribers over this. I don’t subscribe to YouTube Tv, but I sort of admire the move.
