Yes. In other words it's just plain down on the farm stupid. We should not pander to foolishness.

      I'm ok with this one.

      Banning master bedroom? Nope.

Banning master/slave (process, relay, etc) Nope.

      Banning 'niggardly'? Nope.

But this one doesn't bother me. And yes I get the etymology point.

      Only non-witches get due process.

The bad guys wear black hats

The good guys wear white hats

You can't surgically remove one narrow little use of the words

        There are unforeseen circumstances.

Don't get me started on "male" and "female" connectors.

Or that testing "positive" is bad but testing "negative" is good.

Yes. It makes the zeros feel somehow less.

But some things just hit the nail on the head. White = GOOD! Black = BAD!

Being "in the black" isn't bad, it's good.

"Black diamond" skiing courses require the highest level of skill to navigate.

Being a "black belt" means you're an expert, qualified to teach and represent your school. Being a "white belt" means you're a complete beginner.

                  Just sayin'.

Yes, It is not always like that. But this particular instance is pretty convincing to me. that it should change.

Fair enough. And FWIW, I think you could indeed make a case for it. Just pointing out that it's a bit complicated.

And it doesn’t have anything to do with race unless you want it to.

                  👍

Not to mention, so-called black people aren't even black. Only a very tiny fraction (I think) have truly black skin; the rest have skin that varies in color from dark chocolate to cafe au lait.

So what is it we're denigrating, exactly?

That reminds me of the Apollo Soyuz mission

I remember that they had to jump through hoops to make sure the mating adapter used to dock the spacecraft was neither male nor female. Because it would have been a slight to have one country or the other be the female.
