I'm not a huge fan of "soupy" chili. Wendy's chili is too soupy for me.

I prefer chili that you can eat with a fork.

I like chili just about any way or style. It's all good. I put some masa in it to thicken it up a bit. Adds a nice Texas flavor too.

While I am at it, does anybody use Jiffy cornbread mix and gussy it up? I like to add corn, sour cream and honey to mine to make it more moist and interesting. There's a website with ideas.

OK, I cooked it down substantially today and added chipotle pepper and more cumin. Now tastes more like chili and less like beef stew.
