I didn't rank order. I said the core is more important than the periphery. That's stone cold truth, whether you like it or not. I can show you several internet forums that are barely functioning. We talked about one in this thread already. It takes more than one person, it takes a core group.

I like to hear your thoughts. I think you are a well-educated man with a somewhat unique perspective and skils everyone does not have. But the Truth is that if the board depended solely on you, or people with your erratic posting proclivity, it would have died years ago.

That is my opinion.

I'm not disputing any of that, I think you're right.

Probably would have, that's true. I just don't care. It's not like anyone out there is in danger of having their families dissolve if Facebook were to get shut down, and it's the same for this place. The board isn't a prerequisite for knowing and sharing stuff with the people who participate here.

That's another reason why I don't post here very much anymore. Fewer members, and the stuff I'm into I know for a fact isn't really that much of a thing for most folks, and that's alright. I don't see the point in boring George, Cats, and everyone else with a rant about Drow retcons when I know damn well Horace, LD, and probably that's it would even find that relevant, let alone interesting.
