If you’re a sitting president, who is lying about an election (that you majorly lost) being stolen, and telling his supporters he loves them after they just invaded the Capitol to try and prevent the peaceful transition of power... at some point you’ve crossed the line. Many many many times crossed.
Remove him. By 25th or by impeachment. He’s the complete opposite of what American Democracy is all about.

The thing about the "public square" argument is that a public entity typically constructs a public square.
You can't claim a popular tavern as a public space because it happens to do well.
Twitter is a private entity. The government can spend a bit of capital to construct a twitter of their own (it's not a technically complex platform)

There's no fixing this. The Left has lost any semblance of sanity. They aren't I interested in hearing the other side, and they can't let go of their psychotic hate. Two options remain - surrender, or fight.

No. I mean that two things are beginning to become clear: very few of the people from the Trump rally were involved, and 2, an awful lot of the guys I saw in news videos looked more like those paid anarchists that show up when the democrat rioters come out than they looked like actual Trump supporters. I'm wondering if it wasn't instigated by someone other than Trump supporters.
